We completed two dives at Abu Sayal. The visibility was really good, and we had a chance to see schools of colourful fish, a stingray, moray eels, triggerfish (luckily it didn’t try to attack us) and the highlight of the day: a magnificent giant turtle!
Also, we enjoyed a super delicious lunch! Best food we had in Egypt!
I completed my Advanced Open Water course with instructor Mario, who I felt was genuinely interested in sharing his knowledge and helping me improve my skills and confidence as a diver, rather than just taking a tick-box approach to get me through the course. Thank you Mario for your patience, encouragement and support!
Diving with Emperor was a very enjoyable experience. Their boat Emperor Marcus was clean and comfortable. The dive guides were attentive and helpful, willing to share their knowledge and give advice on how I could improve my skills as a diver. The comprehensive pre-dive briefings for each site were very much appreciated and the focus on safety throughout really helped to make it feel like a safe experience. Boat crew Ahmed and Mustafa were friendly and helpful, as was Hassan at reception. Overall it felt like a very organised, safe and reliable dive operation.
Boat crew and dive guides were also very good at pointing out interesting things to see in the water. I particularly enjoyed seeing dolphins and eagle rays for the first time!
Thank you Emperor Divers for making it a fantastic experience – I hope to visit again soon!!

Ein speziellen Dank geht an den Tourguide “Nubi” er macht gerne Witze und hat es Mega drauf (wahrscheinlich bezahlt er die Meeresbewohner damit sie bei seiner Tour kommen).
Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und können uns einen weiteren Besuch gut vorstellen.

Day Diving
Emperor offers day diving in the Solomon Islands, Indonesia and Egypt. On the Red Sea we have three centres with a variety of different ‘feels’ – from the vibrant Sharm el Sheikh to relaxed Wadi Sabarah. In the Solomons, Emperor Divers Honiara provides unrivalled access to incredible World War II history and stunning marine life while Emperor Lembongan in Indonesia is perfectly situated to explore the world-famous Coral Triangle.
